Enhancing the vocation skills of differently abled persons/kids

Cerebral Palsy is a group of disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. This is a most common motor disability in childhood. Such children cannot go to normal schools and when they grow up it is impossible for them to take up normal employment. These grown up adults are normal otherwise and also wants to be part of the normal society. While, there are government institutions for education of such differently abled children, there is nothing from the government, once they grow up.

So, the parents of such grown up children have come together and formed an association called Parents Association Of Persons With Cerebral Palsy & Associated Disorders (PAPCP) as an NGO. The primary objective of PAPCP is to impart the vocation skills in these differently abled persons/kids and then ensure these adults are gainfully employed in whatever limited way they can. PAPCP not only looks after the employment but also try to motivate and keep the kids of all age group active throughout the day by arranging various activities. Kids are engaged in creating artistical articles Diyas, gift wrapping, painting etc. We are associated with this organization from past 3 years.
